Edwin L. Wallace is a trial lawyer and former President of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.  He has served on the Board of Governors of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the American Association for Justice, and is a fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation.  He was the recipient of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer Award in 1989.

He is a frequent lecturer on a variety of trial-related subjects for the American Association for Justice, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Suffolk University Law School, and the National Business Institute.  He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts (B.A.) (M.B.A.) and Suffolk University Law School.

Mr. Wallace’s trial experience has included many jury verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million, including the largest verdict in New England in an asbestos case of $2.9 million.  His cases have involved the areas of product liability, including Camaro rollovers, defective cranes, defective trucks and tractors, and defective machinery; maritime accidents, including fishermen, longshoremen, line handlers and crew ship passengers; construction accidents, automobile accidents, toxic exposures, breast implants, drug exposures, including Fen-Phen/Redux, lead paint poisoning and asbestos exposure.

Mr. Wallace’s practice has taken him to the courts of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Missouri, and Illinois.  He also serves as a mediator with the American Arbitrators Association and has been appointed as Special Master by judges of the Superior Court of Massachusetts.

Mr. Wallace has been named in Best Lawyers in America for many years, as well as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer, and as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association.  He is rated “AV,” the highest available rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a highly respected independent legal rating publisher.
