Robert T. Naumes has over 30 years experience representing victims of transportation related accidents, toxic torts and consumer fraud.
Born in Boston, he graduated with honors from Boston College and Boston College Law School. After law school he joined Robert Malone litigating wrongful death and serious personal injury claims for railroad and maritime workers under the Federal Employers' Liability Act and Jones Act. In 1985, he merged his firm with Thornton and Early, creating one of the largest Plaintiff firms in the Northeast.
Bob directs the firm's consumer class action and FELA practice groups. He is currently working on class action law suits concerning defective Ford trucks, composite decking, the unauthorized practice of law, and unfair insurance company settlement practices.
Recommended by all major railroad unions, Bob also represents workers with traumatic and occupational disease claims. Recent litigation includes railroad workers who developed acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) for exposure to benzene from petroleum-based solvents.
He is a former president of the Academy of Rail Labor Attorneys and is a member of the American Association for Justice and Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
