Edwin L. Wallace
Edwin L. Wallace is a trial lawyer and former President of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys. He has served on the Board of Governors of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the American Trial Lawyer Association, and is a fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation. He was the recipient of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Outstanding Young Lawyer Award in 1989. He is a frequent lecturer on a variety of trial related subjects for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Suffolk University Law School and the National Business Institute. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts (B.A.)(M.B.A.) and Suffolk University Law School.
Mr. Wallace's trial experience has included many jury verdicts and settlements in excess of one million dollars including the largest verdict in New England in an asbestos case of $2.9 million dollars. His cases have involved the areas of product liability, including Camaro rollovers, defective cranes, defective trucks and tractors, and defective machinery; maritime accidents, including fishermen, longshoremen, line handlers and crew ship passengers; construction accidents, automobile accidents, toxic exposures, breast implants, drug exposures, including Fen-Phen/Redux, lead paint poisoning and asbestos exposure.
Mr. Wallace's practice has taken him to the courts of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Washington, Missouri and Illinois. He also serves as a mediator with the American Arbitrators Association and has been appointed as Special Master by judges of the Superior Court of Massachusetts.
