Joseph R. Donohue represents individuals who have been seriously injured as a result of the negligent conduct of product manufacturers, physicians, dentists, chiropractors, landlords, contractors, employers, vessel owners and municipal officials. Mr. Donohue has also represented victims of sexual assault and police misconduct. He has successfully litigated cases in the State and Federal courts of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York and Connecticut. Mr. Donohue has authored articles for numerous legal publications, including the Massachusetts Law Review, for which he served as an editor from 1987 through 1990. He has also lectured on trial topics for the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
Mr. Donohue does pro bono legal work on behalf of the Greater Lowell Bar Association and the St. Francis House of Boston, where he provides legal advice to members of Boston's homeless community.
Mr. Donohue is a member of the Massachusetts and Maine Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (Board of Governors 1997 to the present), the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and the Catholic Lawyers Guild. He is a magna cum laude graduate of St. Anselm College, the Suffolk University Law School and St. Johns Preparatory School.
